The abundance cheque

A gentle little ritual to set a clear intention — plus a lovely template to print, signed by Wooly.

An abundance cheque is a symbolic cheque you write to yourself, "from the Bank of the Universe." It doesn't make money fall from the sky 🌙 — but it does something more useful: it makes your desire clear, felt and present.

Where it comes from

The abundance cheque is a ritual popularised in manifestation and law-of-attraction circles. Tradition says to fill it in within 48 hours of the new moon — the time of intentions and fresh starts. But nothing stops you from doing it whenever it feels right.

How to fill it in

1. The date. Ideally within 48h of the new moon.
2. Pay to the order of: you. Write your own name — you're the one receiving.
3. The amount. Two schools: a specific sum (a concrete goal), or write "paid in full" / an unlimited amount (∞) if you'd rather stay open to what life brings.
4. The signature: the Universe. It's already there at the bottom. Life, source, the cosmos — however you like to call it.
5. Keep it in sight. In your wallet, on your mirror, your altar. Look at it and feel the abundance already here.

To make it truly "work"

Let's be honest, in Wooly's spirit: the cheque has no magic power. What it has is the power to focus your attention and put you in the energy of abundance rather than lack. And it's that energy that nudges you to notice opportunities, to dare to ask, to take action.
