The seven energy centres, what each one governs, the signs of imbalance, and simple ways to bring them back into flow.
What are the chakras?
The chakras are seven energy centres running from the base of your spine to the crown of your head, a concept rooted in ancient yogic tradition. Each governs a different part of your physical, emotional and spiritual life. When energy flows freely through them, you feel grounded, open and alive; when one is blocked or overactive, you feel it — and that's where gentle rebalancing helps.

How to rebalance, simply
You don't need anything fancy. Notice which area of life feels off, find its chakra above, and give it a little attention this week — the matching colour, a short meditation, or the simple practice listed. A guided meditation is a lovely place to start.
A gentle, honest note
Chakra work is a contemplative wellbeing practice, not a medical treatment. If something feels physically or emotionally heavy, please also reach out to a real professional. Energy work and care can walk side by side.
