Energy & healing

Your soul has its own colours, gifts and currents. Discover your spirit profile, read aura colours, balance your chakras and work with crystals — gently, at your own pace.

Energy healing is the gentle art of tending to the subtle energy that traditions all over the world say flows through us — called qi in China, prana in India, and the “biofield” in modern energy work. The idea is simple and old: when that energy flows freely, we feel well and clear; when it stagnates or knots up, we feel drained, anxious or stuck. Energy healing is any practice that helps it move again.

It's a wide family. A few of its best-loved forms:

A session usually feels like deep rest — warmth, tingling, a wave of calm, sometimes emotion quietly releasing. You don't have to “believe” in anything for it to feel soothing; at the very least, it's a permission slip to slow down and be tended to. Below, you can explore each path gently, at your own pace.

For wellbeing and reflection — complementary to, never a replacement for, medical care.

What a session feels like

Most energy work follows a similar shape, whatever the method: you lie down clothed, warm, and you do… nothing. That's the subtle part — you're simply asked to let yourself receive, something many of us have forgotten how to do. The practitioner rests or hovers their hands, sometimes with singing bowls or soft music, and lets time stretch out.

What people describe tends to repeat: a warmth spreading through the body, tingling, a pleasant heaviness in the limbs, sometimes a tear that rises for no clear reason. Nothing dramatic — more the release of a body that finally feels allowed to lower its guard. In plain terms, a session switches on the parasympathetic nervous system, the rest-and-restore mode: that alone is genuine care. You don't need to "believe" for your body to soften.

A 5-minute routine, at home

You don't need a practitioner to begin. This little sequence is enough to get your energy moving again when you feel knotted or drained — in the evening, before sleep, or on a break.

Breathe

Three slow breaths, the exhale longer than the inhale. Feel the breath drop all the way to the belly.

Rest your hands

One hand on the heart, one on the belly. Let them warm the skin. This is your own care, offered to yourself.

Release

With each exhale, picture a tension melting and leaving through your hands. Stay as long as it feels gentle.

The secret: consistency beats intensity. Two minutes every evening moves more energy than one long session you never repeat. Your body quickly learns to recognise the signal: "we relax now."

Myth vs reality

The mythYou have to "feel the energy" — see colours, have visions — or it isn't working and you're not gifted.
The realityMost people feel only warmth or calm, and that's perfect. The effect — the release — happens whether you "feel" it or not.
The mythEnergy work replaces medicine, or promises to cure illness.
The realityIt's care for calm and groundedness, a complement. It soothes and anchors — it never replaces real medical care.

Frequently asked

Do you have to "believe" for it to work?

No. Most of the effect — the deep relaxation, the nervous system shifting into rest mode — happens even if you stay sceptical. Come curious rather than convinced; that's more than enough.

Can energy work cure an illness?

No, and be wary of anyone who promises it. These are wellbeing and relaxation practices, a complement to medical care, never a substitute. For anything health-related, see a qualified professional.

Where should a beginner start?

With the gentlest thing: the routine above, a guided meditation, or reading the aura colours. Choose what draws you, without forcing — energy responds to softness better than to willpower.
