Four ways to be “free”
Free with no strings: you arrive, you draw, you read. Nothing to hand over. It is rare, and it takes ten seconds to verify.
Free after signup: the reading exists, but an email comes first. That is not dishonest, but it is not free either — you paid in personal data before receiving anything. Free in credits: three tokens on signup. The first reading is a gift, the fourth costs money. The accurate word is “sample”. Free trial with a card: this is a subscription starting, with a delay before the first charge. Worth reading closely, especially the date.
What is free here plainly
One three-card reading a day, with no account and no card details. The limit lives on your device: switch browsers and it resets — that is the consequence of not asking you to register, and it works in your favour.
Also open: the meanings of all 78 cards, the numerology calculators, angel numbers, mirror hours, the articles. None of it asks you to sign up.
What costs money: unlimited readings and Wooly's memory, by subscription; and a handful of written reports sold individually, with no subscription. Prices are shown before payment, never after.
How to check before giving your email
Open the site in a private window and try to complete a reading. If you get to the end without being asked for anything, it is free. If a wall appears, at least you now know where it is and what it costs.
Then search the pricing page for the word “card”. A free trial that wants card details is not a trial, it is a deferred subscription.
Finally, look for the price written as a number. “From” with no amount, or a price visible only after you hand over an email, are both bad signs.
