Deep blue flecked with gold, lapis lazuli is the stone of true speech. It’s said to support expression, wisdom and the courage to say what you think — well, and without aggression. A royal stone, quite literally.
It links the head and the throat: think clearly, then say it clearly.
Mined for 6,000 years from the mountains of Afghanistan, lapis adorned Tutankhamun’s mask and, ground down, gave Renaissance painters their precious “ultramarine” blue.
For daring to speak, setting boundaries, or clearing your mind before a hard conversation.
Hold it before speaking up or a delicate conversation, wear it near the throat, or set it on your journal when you’re searching for the right words. What matters isn't the stone itself, but the attention it invites you to bring to yourself: a crystal is an intention you hold in your hand.
