Mars brings heat and drive wherever it lands, so tradition pays attention when it lands in the areas that touch married life.
What the tradition does not say is that a Manglik person is destined for a difficult marriage. It says that this particular energy is worth being conscious of — and it immediately lists the conditions under which it stops mattering.
A common mistake is to check Mars only from the rising sign. Classical matching checks it from three reference points: the Lagna (your ascendant), the Moon and Venus. Each one looks at a different layer — the body and temperament, the emotional life, and the marriage significator itself.
This matters because the three often disagree.
