The stone of forgiveness and heart healing.
Pink marbled with black, rhodonite is the great stone of heart healing. It’s said to accompany grief and forgiveness — of others and of yourself — and to soothe old emotional wounds, gently and without denial.
Where rose quartz opens the heart, rhodonite mends what was hurt in it.
Its name comes from the Greek rhodon, “rose”. Its black inclusions of oxidised manganese give it that recognisable marbled look.
For moving through grief, forgiving, or making peace with an old wound.
Hold it over the heart in a moment of sadness, keep it during forgiveness work, or set it near you when you write about a wound. What matters isn't the stone itself, but the attention it invites you to bring to yourself: a crystal is an intention you hold in your hand.
Cleanse it under running water for a few minutes or with smoke (sage, palo santo), then recharge it overnight under the full moon or on a quartz cluster.
"A crystal doesn't do the work for you — it reminds you, in the palm of your hand, of what you've chosen to listen to. 🐑"
