Wooly is drawing your year…
A year ahead reading maps the next twelve months — through your birth date, your sun sign and the cards Wooly draws for you. You get a theme for the whole year and a card with a short, honest message for each month, read as one continuous story: how the year opens, what grows, the turning point, and how it resolves. It's not a fixed prophecy — it's a clear map, so you can meet the bright months with open arms and the harder ones with a plan.
Wooly writes yours personally and it's yours to keep and revisit each month. Want to understand exactly how it's made first? Read our guide to the year ahead reading →

A year ahead reading gives a month-by-month structure to the next twelve months. It begins with a theme for the year, then explores the tone of each month so you can think about timing, energy, relationships, work and periods that may deserve more patience or initiative.
This format is different from a daily horoscope. It is a personal symbolic reading based on your birth details, written to help you reflect on a longer chapter. The cards do not remove uncertainty and they do not decide what you should do. Use the months as prompts for planning and self-observation, alongside the practical information that matters in your life.
The report is a one-time purchase and is delivered as a written reading. If you want a shorter view focused on what may be coming next, see What’s Coming For You; if you want dated openings and windows, compare the Cosmic Calendar.
They disagree, substantially. Year-ahead forecasts are published in large numbers every December and almost never audited afterwards, which is why the same year can be described as a year of expansion and a year of reckoning depending on who you read.
We are not going to add another confident forecast to that pile. The report reads your own chart month by month and says where the themes fall, with the uncertainty left visible.
No sign is luckier than another, and lists that rank them are written for clicks. Assigning fortune by birth month also quietly tells most readers that their year is going to be worse, which is both unkind and unsupported.
If the question underneath is whether anything good is coming, that is a fair thing to want from a reading. What we can honestly offer is a description of where your own chart suggests movement is possible.
There is no such thing. Studies that appear to link birth month to outcomes usually turn out to track school cut-off dates or seasonal effects on health, not fortune, and they do not support astrological claims.
We would rather say this plainly on a page where we are selling you something than let an unexamined assumption do the selling.
Month by month across twelve months, built from your birth data. Each month names the themes the chart highlights, where attention may be useful, and what is worth not deciding yet.
It is a calendar of themes, not of events. No month will contain a prediction with a date attached.
Use it to plan reflection, not logistics. Choosing a wedding date, a surgery date or a contract date on astrological grounds means letting symbolism override practical constraints, and we will not encourage that.
Where it is genuinely useful is noticing that you tend to overcommit in a particular stretch of the year, and planning less that month for reasons you can actually defend.
This one is a monthly calendar; the future reading is a thematic narrative of the chapter ahead. Same honesty, different shape.
If you want to see the quality of the writing before paying, the free natal reading is written by the same hand and costs nothing.
Because they are written in a way that resists checking. Predictions phrased as themes rather than events cannot be scored, and the few that name specifics are usually forgotten by the time the year ends.
We mention it because it explains why the genre stays popular despite never being validated. A forecast nobody audits can be confidently wrong forever.
As accurate. Most months in most lives are ordinary, and a report that makes every month sound pivotal is padding. A quiet month in the reading is information, not a gap in the service.
If you want something to do with a quiet stretch, that is usually the right place to put the slow work: the habit, the admin, the conversation you keep deferring.
