✦ Ashtakoot Guna Milan is a cherished tradition, but one tool among many — real compatibility lives in respect, communication and care. For reflection & guidance. 🐑

What you actually receive

A written reading of the match, for both charts. It covers the eight kootas one at a time — what each is measuring, what your score in it actually describes, and where it is generous or strict. The two doshas that make people anxious, Nadi and Bhakoot, get their own section, including the classical cancellations that are routinely left out of automated scores.

Manglik status is checked for both people, not just one, because the traditional rule is about the pair.

Why a number out of 36 is not an answer

Ashtakoota Milan produces a score, and a score invites a verdict. But the eight kootas do not weigh the same things: Nadi alone carries eight points, more than a fifth of the total, while Varna carries one. Two couples with the same score can be matched for completely different reasons.

So the report explains where your points come from rather than handing you a total. A high score built on the wrong kootas and a middling score built on the right ones are not the same situation, and no single number can say which you have.

What this is not

Before you buy

We do not both know our exact birth times.

Ashtakoota Milan is computed from the Moon's nakshatra, which moves slowly — roughly a day per nakshatra. An approximate time is usually enough for the eight kootas. Manglik status and the house-based sections are less certain, and the report says so.

What score is 'good'?

Traditionally 18 out of 36 and above is considered acceptable, 24 and above good. But the report explains which kootas your points come from, because two identical scores can describe very different matches.

Does a low Nadi score mean we should not marry?

No. Nadi dosha has recognised cancellations in the classical texts, and they are checked and named in your report. It is treated as one factor, never as a verdict.

Whose details do I need?

Both people's date, time and place of birth. Names are optional and only used to address you.

How is this different from the free tool?

The free tool gives the score. This is the reading — each koota explained, the doshas examined with their cancellations, and what the whole picture describes about the two of you.

Want the score first? The free Kundli Milan tool computes the eight kootas. To read either chart on its own, see the detailed kundli report.
