You need your date, exact time and place of birth. Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac with an ayanamsa correction, so a Kundli chart will not match a Western chart calculated from the same data.
Birth time matters more here than in most systems, because the ascendant and the house divisions shift quickly. If your time is uncertain, say so rather than rounding to the hour.
There is no accuracy ranking to give. Western tropical and Vedic sidereal charts are built on different zodiac conventions, and both are internally consistent. Neither has been shown to predict outcomes.

It is the offset between the tropical zodiac, measured from the equinox, and the sidereal zodiac, measured against the fixed stars. The two have drifted roughly twenty-four degrees apart, which is almost a full sign.
That is why your Vedic Sun sign is often the one before your Western one. Different schools use slightly different ayanamsa values, Lahiri being the most common, and the report names which it used.
