What you actually receive

Your chart, calculated precisely and laid out clearly — then read back to you in plain words. It gives your Moon rashi and nakshatra, your lagna, and all nine grahas one by one: where each sits, which area of life it falls in, and what that placement points to. Your Manglik status is included, with the cancellations checked rather than announced as a verdict.

It is a clear map of your chart, not a long personal essay — if you want pages of written interpretation, the Akashic Soul Report is the one to take.

It closes with a section on reading your own chart without frightening yourself, which is the part most reports leave out.

How it is calculated

Sidereal positions, Lahiri ayanamsa — the standard used across Indian astrology and the one most published panchangs follow. That is the difference you may have noticed if your Western sun sign and your Vedic rashi disagree: they are two different reference frames, and neither is a mistake.

Your birth time matters more here than in Western astrology, because the lagna moves roughly one degree every four minutes. An approximate time still gives a usable Moon rashi and nakshatra; it makes the lagna and the house placements less certain, and the reading says so where it applies.

What this is not

Before you buy

I do not know my exact birth time — is it still worth it?

Yes, with a caveat. Your Moon rashi and nakshatra are stable across several hours, so that part of the reading holds. The lagna and the house placements depend on the minute, and the report flags where that uncertainty matters instead of writing over it.

How is this different from the free kundli tool?

The free tool computes and displays the chart. This is the reading of it — every graha interpreted in its house and sign, in prose, written for you.

How long is it, and how do I get it?

It is a long read, delivered on screen immediately after payment, and yours to keep or print. Nothing to install, no account needed.

Why does my Vedic sign differ from my Western one?

Because Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, tied to the visible stars, while Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac, tied to the seasons. The two have drifted about 24 degrees apart. Neither is wrong; they are answering different questions.

Is anyone checking it?

Not a person — it is written the moment you open it. It is checked automatically before it appears: every section present, nothing cut off. If something is missing, it is written again before you see it.

Want to see the calculation before you pay? The free kundli tool gives you the chart itself. Curious about your birth star specifically? Start with the 27 nakshatras.

About this page. Vedic astrology (jyotiṣa) is a living tradition, practised today.
